I've got a general question according to EEPROM I2c ICs. Is there a generic specification specifying on how to perform read / write operation from/to such a device via I2c?
I wondered because I compared the datasheets of an ATMEL (AT24C01D) and a STM (M24C64-A125) device, and the specifications of those devices describing how to access the memory were quite similiar.
