istio sidecar - Support for windows container as a side car

Question

I am new to Istio community. In my kubernetes cluster i had mixed platfrom. Wanted to deploy windows app with windows contianer as sidecar. But did not get any clue how to do that. Later after research i found that the support for windows container is yet not rolled out. Any workaround ?
