I am new to python programming and I need help with file management. I have files with the file pattern shown below. As you can infer from the regular expression characters in the file pattern, there are variables in the file names. Those variables are a Well number, a Site number, and a sequence number "seq". I want to remove the sequence numbers from all files with this file pattern. I am not sure how to use the listdir() and rename() functions to remove the variable sequence numbers in every file.

                  'Well(?P<well>[0-6]*)_'
                  '_(?P<site>[0-9]+)_'
                  'Channel(?P<channel>.*)'
                   '_Seq(?P<seq>[0-9]+)'
                  '.nd2')]```
