I am trying to write a hello-world type USQL script with a custom extractor and whenever I include a REFERENCE ASSEMBLY
statement the build failing with the error
C:ProjectsTestAzureadlsHelloWorldHelloWorldinDebugExampleExample.usql(-1,-1): error E_CSC_SYSTEM_INTERNAL: Internal error! Index was outside the bounds of the array..
I am using the example from the documentation (data abbreviated for the post). Commenting out the reference assembly statement allows the script to run to completion. Also according to the server browser the assembly was successfully registered within the local-machine ADLA account which shows the CREATE ASSEMBLY
statement is succeeding.
CREATE ASSEMBLY IF NOT EXISTS [Newtonsoft.Json] FROM "/assemblies/Newtonsoft.Json.dll";
REFERENCE ASSEMBLY [Newtonsoft.Json];
@employees =
SELECT * FROM
( VALUES
(1, "Noah", 100, (int?)10000, new DateTime(2012,05,31), "cell:030-0074321,office:030-0076545"),
(14, "Jennie", 100, (int?)34000, new DateTime(2000,02,12), "cell:(5) 555-3392,office:(5) 555-7293")
) AS T(EmpID, EmpName, DeptID, Salary, StartDate, PhoneNumbers);
@result =
SELECT EmpName,
Salary ?? 0 AS Salary
FROM @employees;
OUTPUT @result
TO "/output/example.csv"
ORDER BY Salary
USING Outputters.Csv();
