I use Blueman-Manager for managing Bluetooth devices on my Linux machine. When I try to connect the Linux machine to the Amazon Echo speaker using Bluetooth, I see the following error:

 Connection Failed: Input/output error

Now Amazon Echo connects to my PC and not the other way, and when it does it is set up as an A2DP source. Anything that I request to be played on Echo is streamed to the PC internal speakers.

However it seems I am unable to set the Echo speaker as an A2DP sink. I am unable to have sound played back on Amazon Echo.

Any help in this regard will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.
