I'm given a nested structure of tuples with 2 elements each, and want to convert it to a flat structure

I've tried using * to loop through and flatten, but am stuck since each tuple is nested in another one

Example input: (((((1, 2), 3), 4), 5), 6)

Example output: (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6)

Using recursion

def convert(data):
    result = []
    for item in data:
        if isinstance(item, tuple):
            result.extend(convert(item))
        else:
            result.append(item)
    return tuple(result)

data = (((((1, 2), 3), 4), 5), 6)
print(convert(data))
